The TIM Tester requires a PC computer to run WinTIM software which performs all aspects of tester control, data collection, and data analysis. This computer is not included with the purchase of a TIM Tester although Analysis Tech can provide a suitable computer as an optional part of a turnkey package. The following details are provided for users who wish to use other computers.

NOTE: The computer must have at least 1 USB port and one RS232 serial port. Although a second USB port can be used with a USB/Serial converter, the on-board RS232 port is preferable.
